Bring Me The Horizon to play Jimmy Kimmel Live!

-

If you’re into Bring Me The Horizon’s new stripped-down sound on their new album Amo and wanted a taste of them played live, you’re in luck: the band has announced on social media that they will be performing live on TV this Valentine’s Day.

BMTH put the word out via Twitter saying that the band will be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on February 14th. Also, if you like the thought of that, the band will also be playing a mini-concert around their appearance, and you can snag tickets here.

The band has gone through a sort of reinvention when it comes to their sound and the question from a lot of their original fans is, how did one of deathcore’s biggest bands go pop?

Forming in 2004, BMTH was originally ridiculed by the media, but their grimy breed of deathcore still managed to gain momentum mostly through a very active online fan-base. The band started to switch their sound on their 5thalbum ‘That’s the Spirit,’ their new direction had the band sounding more like Muse and Linkin Park as opposed to Lamb of God and Metallica.

So, here we are present day.

The new album Amo was released by the Grammy-nominated band on Jan 24th and they have just dropped their latest single “Mother Tongue” via social media. This is the fourth single taken from the highly anticipated album that also includes the single “Mantra,” which by the way already has 28 million streams on Spotify and 15 million views on YouTube. Not too shabby.

So, if you want to see what all the fuss is about, or if you just want to see more of what you already know. Check the band out on the road (dates posted below) or, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on February 14th.
