Buddy Guy Releases New Album Featuring Special Guests

In blues news, guitar legend Buddy Guy has released to the press, details of his brand new album, about to be released next

In the production chair is Tom Hambridge and the album’s title is appropriately called titled ‘The Blues Is Alive And Well.’

Available as of June 15th, Guy’s new album will be released by Silvertone/RCA Records, and will feature some heavyweights from the music world.

Who you may ask? Well let’s start with guest appearances from Rolling Stones pair Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, and when you throw in names like Jeff Beck and James Bay, you’ve got an album not to be missed.

Three of the guitar world’s best collide on the track ‘ Cognac,’ Beck, Richards and Guy all feature, and Jagger does what he does best on ‘You Did The Crime.’

Guy has TV appearances lined up to promote the new album, it has been announced that he will appear on David Letterman’s Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

You can also catch the man in concert as the 81 year old blues god is on tour in North America.
