Ringing in the summer, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s, Cheap Trick, have released a brand new single called appropriately, “The Summer Looks Good on You,”
You can download the new track via this link. With summer in mind the track is a pop/ rock, roof down, here comes summer style track, singer Robin Zander nails that feeling in the tracks lyrics: “Let’s call it a day, I’ll take you away, I want you to shine again / I want to see you smile again.”
In typical Cheap Trick style, Rick Nelson delivers one of his catchy guitar riffs and the track even hints at their classic “Dream Police” when they start to introduce strings.
The band have said that a new album should drop later this year, but until then you can catch the band out on the road with Poison during their Nothin’ but a Good Time Tour.
If you can’t make one of those shows, Cheap Trick will also be joining Journey and Def Leppard on selected dates later in the year. They will the carry on with the boys from Leppard when they tour Australia, New Zealand and the U.K.
