The countdown clock is on and for those of you that were wondering how Blink-182’s next album is coming on well, have our first preview courtesy of the band’s producer John Feldmann. John is busy working on the new album but took time out to post via Instagram a clip of Travis Barker smashing out a drum track for the new album.
Feldmann wrote: “Can’t wait for the world to hear the new @blink182,” adding: “Here’s a taste with @travisbarker.”
We have word that the band is recording 40 songs for their new effort and we’re presuming that this is one of them, the drum tracks anyway.
Barker recently told Hollywire about the bands eventual goal of narrowing that 40 songs down to a more realistic 10 or 12 tracks for the new album.
There has been no real timeline announce as to when we can get to hear the finished product but with Blink-182 playing the 25th-anniversary Warped Tour concert this June in Atlantic City, New Jersey, you’d expect the new release to be out and available before they hit the stage.
