Disturbed are breaking records left right and center. The band right now sit at the number one spot on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart record, “A Reason to Fight” has risen from the 3rd slot to 1st on the chart dated March 30th
This is the sixth time the band has led the chart, making history for the most in a row.
Ever since “The Vengeful One” was released in August 2015, the band has reigned supreme since then and has amassed four chart-toppers from that year’s Immortalized album, followed by the first two singles released from the bands 2018 album Evolution.
This now means Disturbed have broken their tie with Three Days Grace, who had also laid claim to five consecutive No. 1s in 2012-15.
The record books now show that Disturbed has earned nine Mainstream Rock Songs No. 1s, and is now tied for the fifth most number 1’s since the chart launched in 1981, and are now hot on the heels of Aerosmith, Godsmack, and Metallica. Three Days Grace leads the pack with a total of 14.
