Wow, check out the aerial shots shown below of this year’s Glastonbury festival. As you can see it’s a coordinated mass of colorful tents as the second day of the festival kicks off.
It’s expected that around 200,000 people are expected to attend the five-day extravaganza of music, and the weather temperatures are set to be some of the hottest ever on record.
Lines upon lines of tents have been crammed on to the Worthy Farm site for the annual festival, and as you can see, there are the carefully arranged VIP tents, and of course, the ‘get the tent up and go’ crowd that is ready to get on with the party.
The festival doesn’t begin officially until tomorrow (Friday, June 27th), but as you can see, thousands have already put up their tents and are ready for the weekend.
Founder Michael Eavis opened the gates yesterday to the early arrivals and told those waiting: “It has never been better. It has never been as good as this one.”
