Now, this is a hotel that really rocks. The Hard Rock hotels and casinos are known for making guests feel like rock stars, and their latest venture is taking the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle they embody to a brand new level.
Right in the heart of Hollywood, Florida, the brand is about to unleash the world’s first guitar-shaped hotel. The cost, $1.5-billion, and is part of a $2.2-billion expansion of the current Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino locations in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida.
The proposed 400-foot hotel will seriously stand out and, and is built like the body of a guitar, a rather large one at that. It will include palatial rooms starting at 515 square feet, according to CNN. There are reports that there will be swim-up suites and villas partially submerged in water, which include butler service and a private pool. Pretty cool huh?
In addition, there will be a 10-acre lagoon-style pool, a lazy river, a 12,000-square-foot rooftop bar, lots of shopping, a 41,000-square-foot spa, a comedy theater, 14 restaurants to choose from, and for those of you who like a like flutter or card game, there will be 3,000 slot machines and 228 game tables at the casino.
One of the highlights will be the rebuilt, 7,000-seat concert venue. It will host more than 100 shows per year, that include concerts, boxing matches, theater shows, and all set for the hotel’s grand opening is Maroon 5.
The all-new Hard Rock Hollywood is set to open on Oct. 24th, but you can book room reservations for the hotel as of July 24th.
