KING’S X To Begin Recording New Album In April

KING’S X is set to start recording is new album in mid-April. The follow-up to 2008’s “XV” is tentatively due in late 2019 via the Australian independent record label Golden Robot Records and its partners in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

Drummer Jerry Gaskill told SiriusXM‘s “Trunk Nation” that KING’S X was “still writing” music for its new disc, while bassist/vocalist Doug “dUg” Pinnick added that he has “about 30 songs” written for possible inclusion on the band’s upcoming effort.

KING’S X was sidelined by several health scares in recent years, including Pinnick‘s two hernia operations and two near-fatal heart attacks suffered by Gaskill.
