Listen to Buddy Guy’s ‘Blue No More’

Blues legend Buddy Guy has just released his brand new single Blue No More, via streaming.

Blue No More has been taken from his up-coming album The Blues Is Alive And Well, that will be released via Silvertone/RCA Records on June 15th

 As a follow-up to 2015’s Born To Play Guitar, the new album is heavy with special guests, that sees Buddy Guy teaming up with some blues heavyweights, that includes a duet with James Bay.

Talking of heavyweights, you don’t get much bigger than Mick Jagger, he appears on the song You Did The Crime, while Stones guitarist Keith Richards is joined on the track, Cognac, by guitarist Jeff Beck.

Guy previously released his cover of Sonny Boy Williamson’s track Nine Below Zero.

In appreciation of Guy’s musical legacy, he will be receiving The Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on September 12tha in support of the new album.

 Guy will be the recipient of The Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on September 12th, and is set to hit the road for a short tour in support of the new album.
