British trio Muse, are set to unleash a new track on the world. The new track is called “Something Human,” and, if the murmurings are for real, it will apparently show the band’s softer side.
Via an Instagram post, the bands front-man Matt Bellamy showed fans a clip of him playing acoustic guitar and debuting the new track.
The video sees Bellamy explaining the meaning of the song, saying: “Something Human” was in fact the first song he wrote after the band finished their 2015 world tour for the album Drones.
The new track comes after the launch of the bands Drones World Tour concert film last week. Interestingly, the film was only screened for one night in theaters last Thursday. What a tease.
So as the band are working hard on a follow up to Drones, fans will have to be content with “Something Human.” The track follows on from the standalone Muse singles “Dig Down” and “Thought Contagion.”
As of yet no album title or release date have been announced but we’ll keep you informed as soon as we have any inside information.
