Red Hot Chili Peppers To Stream Live From Egypt

-

As we previously reported next week, March 15th at 2 p.m. ET, Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing a live event at the ancient pyramids of Giza, Egypt. A long way to go right? Well, hold your horses and cancel that payday loan, because the band has announced that the concert will stream live online.

Yes, you read that correctly, the band has announced that the stream will happen March 15th at 2 p.m. ET via RedHotChiliPeppers.com, you can also catch it on the band’s other social media outlets, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Flea said of the event: “The pyramids, it’s unbelievable, we just jumped at the opportunity,” adding: “I have always been fascinated by Egypt and that region of the world and I am so excited to go.”

Grateful Dead and Mariah Carey have played the Giza pyramids before, but, the Chili Peppers show will be the first to be live-streamed. So put that in your pipe and smoke it…….
