Rival Sons Release New Track “Look Away”

-

January 25this a big day for fans of Rival Sons. The band drops their sixth studio album, Feral Roots, and to prepare, for that, they’ve dropped another track from the album “Look Away.”

“Look Away” is the fourth track to be released from Feral Root, prior to this the band had shared the album’s title track, “Back In The Woods” and “Do Your Worst.”

This is the band’s big label debut after being signed by Atlantic Records, and front-man Jay Buchanan and the band’s guitarist Scott Holiday told Detroit’s 101WRIF what it all means to be with one of the biggest labels on earth:

Scott Holiday explained: “We’re happy to be part of this label and be on this big machine.  We’ve been on a label [England-based indie label Earache Records]…a label that worked really hard for us but didn’t really pay attention to the United States and didn’t have big budgets or anything like that. Now we’re with one of the most legendary, wonderful labels ever with a really great group of people helping us out.”

Singer Jay Buchanan expanded: “It’s almost counterintuitive to think of the people on such a large label coming from the generation of knowing, ‘Well, when you get with the big label, it’s all over.  They’re going to run the show. You’re going to have to…’ I can’t believe how great it’s been to work with them.”

Holiday then explained: “It feels so good to sell out,” with Buchanan adding: “[They’re] hands off in the right places AND hands-on in the right places.”

You can pre-order Feral Roots here, and you can get exclusive pre-order vinyl pressings at WarnerMusic.com.
