The Rolling Stones Release More Music from the Vault

The Rolling Stones have released the latest instalment from their official bootleg performances, From the Vault. From the Vault: No Security — San Jose 1999 was released over the weekend on both DVD and Blu-ray, and also as a two-CD/DVD collection, as a three-LP vinyl set, digitally and via streaming services.

The box set documents an April 1999 gig that the Stones played at the San Jose Arena in San Jose, California.

At the time, the Stones were doing a two-night stint and it marked the band’s first gig in San Jose in over 30 years. The band were also at the end of their No Security tour in support of their 1997 album, Bridges to Babylon.

There are all the classic tracks on the album including: “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Paint It Black,” “Get off of My Cloud,” “Tumbling Dice,” “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (but I Like It),” “Start Me Up,” “Brown Sugar” and “Sympathy for the Devil.” Their set also includes renditions of the Bridges to Babylon tracks “Out of Control” and “Saint of Me,” gems like “Respectable” and “I Got the Blues,” as well as a cover of “Route 66.”
