The Dropkick Murphys To Livestream Their Traditional St. Patrick’s Day Gig On Tuesday Night

-

As big as the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is, the annual St. Patrick’s Day show by the Dropkick Murphys is right up there when it comes to tradition.

For many, it’s the ultimate in Irish punk, and their regular St Patty gig has been a yearly staple for 24 years now.

Following the CDC protocol, the band has had to cancel this year’s St. Patty’s Day gig. But here’s the good news, instead of canceling the gig outright, they’ve announced that the show will go on and they’ll be live-streaming the show to the fans instead.

So, where and when you may be asking?

DKM put out the following statement via their website: “We hope you and your families are doing well during this trying time… For the first time in 24 years, we are not playing on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. The current world situation is the ONLY thing that would ever stop us from doing so… So we came up with an idea we’re going to pull off this Tuesday — the night of St. Patrick’s Day…

We’re going to bring a DKM LIVESTREAM CONCERT to EVERYONE – ALL OVER THE WORLD!! You’ll be able to watch it on our YouTube, Instagram and Facebook Live…

“Here’s the details: DROPKICK MURPHYS LIVE FROM BOSTON THIS TUESDAY – MARCH 17

“This will be a FULL CONCERT!!

“We’re excited to entertain you on St. Patrick’s Day — live from Boston!

“SPREAD THE WORD!! THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!”
