The Eagles’ Hotel California is the third best-selling album of all time and has been certified 26-times Platinum by the RIAA for album sales of more than 26 million copies. Following the death of Glenn Frey, fans of the band came to terms with the fact that they’d probably never get to hear the album played live, front to back, ever again. The band split up after Frey’s death but reformed with a new line-up a year later and have toured on and off again ever since. Well think again, the band has just announced that they will indeed be playing their debut album in its entirety during a pair of shows in Las Vegas this fall.
Hotel California will be played in full as well as a “greatest hits” set-list, and keep in mind that several of the nine songs from the album haven’t been played in a live setting since the band did its original tour to promote the record.
Now don’t sit and think about purchasing tickets for too long, the two shows have been billed as The Eagles’ only North American concerts of 2019, and will happen at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th.
