Ever since Kurt Cobain’s death, conspiracy theories have been swirling about how he lived and died during his short and yet impactful life. A new book looks at the impact and memories of Cobain with the 25thanniversary of his death looming.
The book in entitled Serving the Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain, and was written by Danny Goldberg, who served as one of Nirvana’s managers during 1990 and 1994.
Goldberg goes into detail about his memories in the book, he recalls how Cobain was during the madness and height of Nirvana-mania, and the book also has firsthand accounts and interviews with those close to Cobain at the time including, Courtney Love and Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic..
Joan Jett has talked about reading Serving the Servant. She said: “As soon as I started reading I got sucked in and I couldn’t put it down,” adding: “As a huge Nirvana fan, it is petrifying to even attempt a description or enlightened comment about Kurt. I just want to say, any music fan should want this book. Any Nirvana fan must have this book.”
