Thom Yorke Announces North American Tour

-

Even though Radiohead is nowhere on the radio when it comes to touring, Thom Yorke, on the other hand, has announced he will be out on a North American tour later this year.

Set to play 13 shows, Thom has arranged them in conjunction with his announced sets at Austin City Limits, where he’ll be joined by Nigel Godrich and audiovisual artist Tarik Barri in the trio’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes project.

Kicking off at Laval’s Place Bell on September 26th, Yorke with finish up his run at the famous Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on October 29th.

The tours announcement follows the appearance of cryptic poster ads for Yorke’s upcoming solo album that began to pop up in cities around the world for a company called Anima.

The adverts in London said the following: “Do you have trouble remembering your dreams?” They also had the phone number 07588 733 111 printed at the bottom.

When you actually call the number it plays a short portion of the track titled “Not The News.” It’s all very cryptic indeed.

You can snag tickets as of 10 am local time this coming Friday, June 21st.
