In a picture uploaded to social media, the grave marker to note the resting place of Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott has been laid beside the stone of his brother “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.
Paul, who was aged 54 at the time, died last year from a heart condition last year was laid to rest alongside Dimebag, who was tragically shot dead whilst on stage in 2004, aged 38. Their mother is also laid in the family plot.
The Facebook post reads: “VInnie Paul’s grave marker was installed this morning. We ask that you please be respectful when visiting the brothers’ graves.”
Paul’s grave marker inscription reads, “Don’t ever think it’s not a good time, if you do think it’s not a good time, a good time is a good time, a bad time is a bad time, and a wonderful time is irreplaceable. Hellyeah!” The marker refers to the late drummer as “Vinnie Paul the Brickwall,” as well as his birth and death dates of March 11th, 1964 and June 22nd, 2018.
