When you are using special effects and a massive stage show there is always room for a mishap. Paul Stanley of KISS fell victim to just that while performing with the band this last week.
It was during the band’s show in Mexico that Stanley was forced to abandon his zip-line stunt during the track “Love Gun” on May 3rd.
Stanely would normally fly over the crowd on a zip-line during the song but things didn’t quite go as planned.
Currently, on their “End Of The Road” farewell tour, KISS was playing a gig in Iztacalco, Mexico City at the Domination Mexico festival when Stanley’s zip-line encountered a problem. It was either incorrectly secured or not positioned properly either way, Stanley decided to bail on the stunt.
Check out the fan footage below and you’ll see a member of the crew doing his best to assist Stanley before the singer gives up on the stunt.
